Cradle
Anna's Grandpa made her a beautiful cradle. Here are a few pics..........
Exersaucer
We introduced Anna to her exersaucer last week. She likes it, but after a while she gets frustrated with it because she cannot get all of the things on it in her mouth, but overall it has been a hit!
Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Annalise's little corner of the web! I have been wanting to start this blog for some time now, but between being a first time parent to a newborn and finishing my Master's degree work, I have not had the time! I have been intrigued for months though by the blogs of some friends and have been excited to have the opportunity to easily share our little family and most importantly Annalise with you as she grows!!
Time has really flown by -- Anna is now a little over 4 months old. Here are some updated facts about our little one.
Time has really flown by -- Anna is now a little over 4 months old. Here are some updated facts about our little one.
- She has rolled over 6 times on her own this past week (from front to back)
- She has rolled over 1 time on her own from back to front
- She loves to play peek-a-boo, grabbing her feet, petting our dog and cat, her crinkle book, her ring of monkeys, and her Rainorest gym.
- She smiles and coos at home frequently now, but is somewhat reserved when she is in a new situation or is around people other than her Daddy and I.
- She is 14lbs 3 oz and 26 3/4 inches. Yeah, the length is a little impressive since neither her Daddy nor I are very tall. As the doctor put it she is "off the charts" for length-- above the 99th percentile!
