Snow Day #2!

Even though I am not a fan of snow days (I would much rather be off in the summer), Annalise and I had a good time playing in the yard the other day!

Annalise got washable finger paints for Christmas so when I had my 2nd consecutive snow day the other day, I decided to get them out.  I was kinda uncertain how she would like them since at times she doesn't like things to be messy, but she dove right in. When she was finished though, she was in a hurry to wash her hands!

Today we had our first snow day together this winter although it wasn't the "good for playing in" snow.  After a while I did stop down to the school to get some papers to grade and Annalise had a good time in the driveway while I cleaned off the car.

Happy "Balentime's" Day

Okay, I know its a little early but a few weeks ago Annalise and I were at the dollar store and she wanted some Valentine clings for her window.  I put them up to save but this morning she spied them on the shelf so I let her put them on.  She kept calling them stickers, which I had to make clear that they were NOT in fact stickers.  As she was putting them on she kept saying "Happy Balentime's Day!"

Yup, I'm a Dog!

Annalise has a toy where you push the dog and in a really dopey voice it says "Yup, I'm a dog.  I'm a dog. I'm a good dog, good dog!"  If only you could hear the dopey sounding voice that goes with it.  I really think that if Riley could talk, she would sound just like that voice!

Christmas at Grandpa's

Last weekend we went to Grandpa and Sylvia's to celebrate Christmas with them.  Again, Annalise got some gifts that she really loves!  On a side note, these are the first pictures that I took on my new camera!  My mom gave me a camera for Christmas and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So you won't have to listen to me complain on here anymore =)!
