So frequently Annalise says things that crack me up and then I forget them so quickly. Here are four things she said recently that stand out in my mind and really made me laugh:
*Today we dropped Riley off at the groomer to get a bath. When we picked her up I was petting her and telling her that she smelled so good. Annalise leans over and sniffs really deeply and said "Oh, she does smell good! She smells just like a snack!"
*Anna and I were at Petco picking out a "special surprise" for Riley to give her after her grooming appointment. Annalise likes to look at the animals so we walked around a bit. She stopped short in front of the rats and her eyes got big. When I asked her what she was looking at she said that the rats were sleeping with snakes. What she was actually seeing was their long (might I add completely disgusting) tails in the heap of rats sleeping together.
*Anna does well walking in stores and usually will not pick things up and will stay right with me (her shyness really pays off in that regard). I do remind her though whenever we enter a store that she needs to stay right with me, only look with her eyes not her hands, yadda, yadda, yadda. Well we were in Wal-Mart and I bent down to look at something and picked it up. She came right over to me and said "Now Mommy. Please don't touch. You are only apposed (supposed) to look with your eyes, bebember (remember)?" She was really serious about it too!
*Emmy (Emily) was going on vacation and Annalise stopped at her work the day she was leaving. I told Anna to tell her to have a nice vacation. Anna looked at her and it sounded like she said "Happy Fornication!" Ummmmm, what?!?!?!?!?
