Easter 2011

Getting a closer look at the magical, glittery trail left by the Easter Bunny

Following the trail to her basket.
Checking to see what the bunny left her.
The first item she grabbed was her new doll.

Another favorite the Robin Eggs.  She loves those!
Anna also likes Peeps, so the bunny made certain to leave her some of those too!
Another favorite was her new sticker books.  She dove right into those!

Annalise also really likes Olivia the pig, so this new shirt was a hit.
A new puppy.....but not ours!  This is Lilly, Annalise's cousin's pup.
She is such a cute dog!
Anna liked playing with a dog more her size.
Checking to see what the Easter Bunny left at Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave's house.

Getting Ready For the Easter Bunny

Contemplating eating the carrots for the big guy.
Deciding to put them on the plate instead =).

An Early Easter Gift

The night before Easter Annalise's Grandpa and Sylvia came over for a visit.  They gave her an adorable kid picnic table, which she loves!  I like it too because it folds flat easily for storage when not in use.  I am sure the table will get much usage.
 Opening a smaller gift first
It's a cute bunny in a pink purse!
 The big gift was next.
 Annalise's picnic table.

Her first meal at her table included a red plastic donut with an empty blue cup.

1st Easter Egg Hunt

Annalise went to her first Easter Egg Hunt last weekend.  It didn't go over too well.  First, it was cold and rainy and it was close to her nap time.  Despite this, she was still eager to look for eggs and we practiced at home =).  Unfortunately they set off the fire siren to start the egg hunt which freaked her out and then she wanted absolutely nothing at all to do with looking for eggs.  She did enjoy the ice cream afterwards though!
 Eager to start the hunt.
Completely uninterested after the fire siren.
It was all better when the ice cream was served!

Easter Eggs

Anna enjoyed dying eggs this year although many ended up looking tie-dyed and a few cracked but I guess that is to be expected with a 2 1 / 2 year old!

Decorating For Easter

Decorating for holidays is one of my favorite things to do with Anna since she gets so excited about doing it.  At the beginning of April we had a good time putting the winter snowmen away and getting out the spring and Easter stuff.
