New York City

Between Christmas and New Years my friend Emily and I took a train from New Jersey into New York City for the day for some sight seeing and shopping.  In the words of Em "It was a great day until we almost DIED!".  It is a long story that involved a plastic horn, the Macerena (I don't know how to spell that),  an insane possibly intoxicated taxi driver named Pedro who was screaming R rated phrases from the taxi.  It is one of those "you had to be there" kind of stories but it was HYSTERICAL (I am laughing out loud as I am typing this) and slightly frightening at the same time. Anyway, I barely took any pictures other than Home Alone related photos because Annalise loves those movies and other things I thought she might want to see.  It was a great day!

We went two or so days before New Year's Eve and they were actually testing the ball.  We watched them move it up and down a few times and test the lights.  It was neat.  They were also already setting things up for the New Year's celebration.
